Preproduction

The most important step in recording is having a plan.

Come use our space to create a demo where you are free to experiment, try new things, and bounce ideas around with people who are as excited about your song as you are. Even if you decide to do your tracking at another studio, we can help you get your ideas off the ground. Preproduction is included with any recording package!

Tracking

Let’s face it, playing the same part over and over can be tedious and intimidating. We can guide and help you feel your best in order to nail the elusive “perfect take.” At Blackstone, our trained ears won’t waste your time with unnecessary takes and repetition.

Tracking every part not your thing? Your bassist couldn’t be bothered to show up for rehearsal? That’s no problem. We have session players standing by to help bring your ideas to life. There’s no need to settle for less when the final take is on the line.

Whether it’s a string quartet, woodwinds, horn ensembles, percussion, upright bass, backup singers, or even a real grand piano (or two), we can add whatever you need to make your track perfect. There are no limits to your sound when you work with us!

Editing and Mixing

Once you have a giant pile of sound, you need to know what to do with it. We take pride in relentlessly pursuing a perfect mix and will not rest until we get it. So much so that we guarantee you will be happy with your final mix.

How can we make a guarantee like that? Because of our preproduction. By knowing what sounds you are looking for from the beginning, we are confident that we will get there at the end.

Mastering

Consider this your one-stop shop for all your recording needs. After everything gets the thumbs up, our team goes to work getting your tracks IR (internet ready). Mastering every detail to make a full, rich sound, we bring out every nuance of your music, making it ready for listeners to enjoy forever.

At Blackstone Studios, your recording matters as much as you do.
